Jayne Carrington - Managing Director
Jayne has worked for over 25 years within the NHS and preventive healthcare industry in a number of diverse roles including general/clinical management, sales and marketing and research and development. During her time working for a market leading private healthcare provider, Jayne led the sales & marketing function of the occupational health and health screening division, spearheading product research and design.
She joined Corecare in 1996 and was promoted to Managing Director in 1998 having achieved significant growth for the company. She has a personal commitment to ensuring that Right Corecare provides the highest standards of client and customer care - which was acknowledged in 2005 when Right Corecare won a Power Award, one of Manpower's achievement awards for business growth coupled with customer satisfaction and business retention.
Jayne is a member of the Institute of Directors, Chartered Institute of Marketing, EAPA, and a Consultant to Regional NHS Improving Lives Task Force. She is a frequent guest speaker at events on stress and work-life balance and has contributed to publications on work-life balance in Breakthrough and Directors Briefing. She is committed to her own personal development and has qualifications in marketing, coaching skills and counselling, and is currently studying Leadership at the IMD.
A fierce exponent of preventive health and self-awareness, Jayne supports many voluntary organisations in her spare time as well as enjoying an active sports and social life in pursuit of her own work-life balance.
Kevin Friery - Clinical Director
With a background of over 20 years' Management experience in the public, voluntary and private sectors, Kevin is also an accredited Counsellor and Trainer.
He joined Right Corecare in 2001 and is responsible for the way in which clinical services are developed and delivered, and is also closely involved with the strategic development of the EAP, ensuring Right Corecare continues to reflect best practice in meeting the changing needs of employers and their staff.
Before joining Right Corecare he was a Service Manager in the NHS, and was responsible for managing the change in delivery of Primary Care Counselling from an ad-hoc service to a fully-managed model. He worked closely with the (then) Health Authority and new Primary Care Groups and Trusts, part of a development in integrated Mental Health services which led to the award of Beacon status. He was part of the Local Implementation Team for the National Service Framework for Mental Health. He has also led extensive change programmes in public and voluntary services for people with learning difficulties, working with staff and clients to develop completely new ways of working and managing the change processes, and has experience of working with public sector staff at all levels.
As well as his key strategic management responsibilities, he has specific responsibility within Right Corecare as Clinical Consultant for the Employee Assistance Programme to the DWP and the Department of Health, working closely with managers within these organisations to ensure that resources are well applied and well used.
Kevin is a Counsellor and Trainer accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management.
Adrienne Heeley - Head of Work Life Services
Adrienne has worked for the Right Management Group for over 10 years in various operational and delivery roles. Adrienne joined Right Corecare in 2006 and her current role covers the designing of services, business development, and the delivery and sourcing of training and mediation interventions.
She has a proven track record of managing large scale projects and her experience covers all business sectors, people of all levels of seniority in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural and multi-racial environments. She has a strong awareness and commitment to equal opportunities and the reduction of discrimination in the workplace. She has managed many multi-site projects and has an ability to provide workable solutions that are in line with budgetary limitations.
Adrienne has a wide range of qualifications including Level A and B psychometric assessment and is a member of the BPS.
Sue Middleton - Head of Counselling
Sue joined Right Corecare in 2002 and became Head of Counselling in 2005. She is responsible for the way the clinical services are delivered via our network of counsellors, and is also closely involved with the strategic development of the counselling service.
Sue has 6 years experience as a counsellor in GP surgeries and 2 years as a schools counsellor. She has also been a personal tutor and pastoral care tutor to counsellors in training. She also has a small private practice and takes referrals from local GP's. She has undertaken an Introduction to Group Analysis and has experience in facilitating groups as well as working with victims of trauma.
Sue was a journalist working on Provincial newspapers for over 15 years until re-training to become a counsellor in 1990.
Sue has a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, a Certificate in Couples Therapy, is a Senior Accredited member of BACP and is a UKRC registered Counsellor. Her specialist areas include sexual abuse/orientation, bereavement and relationship problems.
Marilyn Appleton - Mediation Services Manager
Marilyn joined Right Corecare in 2002 as our Training Manager and was instrumental in developing our expanding Mediation Service.
She has 19 years mediation experience and has worked within the Employee Assistance field for 11 years. She mediates between individuals and is very experienced in group work . One of her specialities is diagnostic work in sensitive and complex conflict situations. She also facilitates team events to consolidate resolutions and best practice.
Marilyn's style of work is to build relationships of mutual respect and trust so that each individual is enabled to participate and find their own path for professional and personal growth. She facilitates with sensitivity to the individual's and group's needs and brings humour and fun to her work.
Marilyn is a workplace mediator and manages Right Corecare's Mediation Service and supervises their UK network of mediators and conflict resolution specialists. She has both commercial and family mediation experience. She is a BACP accredited counsellor and holds a Further Education Training Certificate .
