Employees can be supported in a wide variety of areas including:

Calls are answered by trained, qualified telephone counsellors who meet the following criteria:
- Governance by a recognised code of practice (either BPS or BACP)
- Recognised accredited counselling qualification
- At least three years' experience in an appropriate caring profession
- Special aptitude for and training in providing telephone support
- Training by specialist agencies (e.g. CRUSE, Samaritans)
- Aptitude for and training in research and information services
They have immediate access to:
- A database containing details of over 600 self-help groups
- National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (NACAB) database
- A library resource containing printed and on-line information
- A wide range of constantly updated fact-sheets
Employees also have access to legal and financial experts:
- The Legal Team are all qualified legal practitioners recruited from the legal profession
- Financial Advisors are predominantly banking or accounting professionals who can advise on debt, mortgages, insurance
